The hover of a bird
As it lands
On a tree branch

The uniqueness
Of every snowflake
Just like each human

A blade of grass to you
A mountain to an ant

Metal harvested
Shipped around the world
Assembled into the device
You are reading this on

Speak not like a fire hydrant
But like a surgeon
Silence will connect you to God

One must love their life
As much as
The sun loves to shine

The nourishment you receive
You pass down
To the next generation
Continuing the cycle of life

Shed your chrysalis
Shatter the shell of your egg
Take flight young one
The awakening is now
